TIMELINE: 1996 Jo Hanson, Estelle Akamine & I create unique catalog listing 100+ living professional ecofeminist artists. 1997 Jo & I continue, invite Board to coproduce editions, exhibits, programs. 1998 website launches–one of first re ecoart. Listings double. 1999 Aviva Rahmani, Jo, & I coproduce groundbreaking ecoart panel in LA at College Art Assn convention. 2004 last paper edition; now exclusively online. Redesign interactive website. 2007 Jo dies. Board reorganizes. 2010 first Magazine. 2011 ByLaws pass; elected Board & subcommittees take reins. collectively continue & expand WEAD’s legacy. 2013 audience = 80,000+
